Kunlun Energy and China Power International Signed a Strategic Cooperation Framework Agreement

On 15 November 2016, Kunlun Energy and China Power International Holding Limited (“China Power International”) signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement in Beijing, pursuant to which the parties agreed to conduct comprehensive cooperation in the fields of natural gas power generation, distributed energy and natural gas supply and pipeline construction. Zhao Yongqi, chief executive officer of the Company and Yu Bing, general manager of China Power International attended the signing ceremony.
 
China Power International is a key enterprise under State Power Investment Corporation, one of the five major power generation groups in the PRC. It is principally engaged in the development, construction and operation of electricity and energy projects including coal, hydropower, gas, wind, photovoltaic, biomass power generation and integrated intelligent energy, and owns two companies listed in Hong Kong, being China Power International Development Ltd. and China Power New Energy Development Co. Ltd.. It has strong resource advantages in the development, investment and construction, operation and management of electricity and energy projects, and has recorded strong performance.
 
The parties are optimistic about the prospects for the development of natural gas power generation and distributed energy. Upon signing of the agreement, they will make use of their respective advantages to promote and build a series of gas and distributed energy projects and ancillary natural gas pipeline network.
